About The Club

The Hills District Kennel & Training Club Inc. has been running classes for over 25 years and our trainers are all very experienced in training dogs, having completed a 12 month Instructors Course run by the Club and we are all committed to helping people train their dogs.

 We were one of the first Clubs in Sydney to conduct puppy classes and set an 8 week training program to help teach basic exercises for pet dogs.

Besides the puppy and beginner classes the Club also caters for advanced levels of training.  These include fun classes for pet dogs, as well as instruction for competition work.  

Classes are kept small to help you have a good foundation of
"how dogs learn".  Only rewards based training is used on flat collars. No check chains are used.

The Club also runs 2 Obedience Trials and 2 Championship Shows each year along with various seminars and events on dogs.

The Club is a non profit organisation run entirely by volunteer instructors and we welcome all dog owners of any breed from 12 weeks of age onwards.

All dogs must be vaccinated prior to joining the Club for their own protection and the protection of other dogs on the grounds.
